OS
WIN 11 PRO
My main music recording computer is WIN 11 in my downstairs computer is Win 10. I have a second VGA monitor upstairs that I want to view my downstairs Win 10 computer using remote desktop. When I’m looking at the remote desktop Win 10 computer on my second monitor, the full screen is not showing. I have to use scroll bars on the left and the bottom to view the full screen and also the win 11 taskbar is at the bottom of the screen, which I don’t necessarily need.

When using remote desktop on WIN 11, when I hit the maximize button, everything looks correct I can see the full screen and there’s no scroll bars. I can’t get this view on the dual 2nd monitor, it won't drag to the 2nd monitor. If I click the maximize button, it returns to the regular window that you can resize by pulling on the left or right side and bottom or top to make the window show as well as it can.

Possibly the problem may be that my Win 11 computer is a large monitor and the second monitor in my dual monitor set up is smaller. I’m wondering if there’s a way to fix this where my remote desktop maximized screen is seen on my second monitor that would certainly solve the problem.

I guess another alternative is using a better remote desktop app that will do what I want. In the past I have used Anyviewer, not sure if that would solve the problem.

Doesn’t RDP connection parameters have a screen resolution/size setting?

Yes, I started adjusting things.

Here's the fix
Options/Display
display config
Check "use my monitor for remote connection"
now the Full screen fader is active
and in my case use 1440x900
check "display the connection bar when I use Full screen"
at top see Full screen and fader with small and large
move this towards small until you get the results

it worked perfectly, i don't see the taskbar from the main monitor, only my 2nd computer taskbar
