So strange. When I plug my scanner into the computer I hear the sound telling me something's been plugged in, but there's no scanner added. I hope I'm missing something simple.

1. Try to install the driver, restart the computer and see if its recognized
2. Check Devices and Printers in the control panel to see if you see anything being added there
If neither of those worked
3. Go into Device Manager and see if you see your scanner connected under the USB controllers
- If not, right click on USB Root Hub and click "Uninstall" and restart the computer
