Win 10 / Win 11 dual boot
So Ive been using WIN11 now for a few days, its awesome. However main thing im missing that I use daily basis like 20-30-40 times is to switch audio device. Now I have to right click, go to settings and then enable headset or display audio from there - im missing a WIN10 -alike option to click it above the volume slider.

Any tips of how to achieve something like that? I might aswell try and code my Corsair K65 to do that but not yet :)

Thanks in advance.

I use Realtek audio and it asks via a notification when I plug in phones or a mic. What do you use?

Hello, :-)

Here are some options in the tutorial on how to switch your sound output device. Option 1 via Quick Settings is the easiest way.

I have a Asus strix 7.1 "owl" USB-headset and just a 40" Samsung LED TV. So I dont have anything to unplug/plug around. Thanks for Brink, trustful as always. Somehow Ive missed that small arrow there next to the volume slider. Now I feel dump lol. However, im missing that speaker-icon which is on the "Change Default Sound Output Devicce in Windows 11 tutorial" screenshot. Not that I care but just thinking :)

Funny thing, that little URL and the tutorial will save me roughly 30 to 60minutes each day from now on, I bet, so keep it up community, this rocks!
Thanks you all.

I'm glad it could help. The speaker icon instead of arrow should be coming to new build soon. It's currently only in Dev builds.
