Solved Unable to quick switch audio device you have to choose and select default device every time now?

Hi, has something yet again changed with audio devices, I can no longer quick select an audio device it forces me to a drop down where I have to choose use "is default for audio" Is Microsoft trolling people who just want it simple and quick to do anything in windows or if I accidentally changed something?

i've just picked up some win11 updates and rebooted, its now come back so I can select from the windows volume button, cheers
