Fingerprint Scanner doesn't Scan the Finger

I have not yet added more than a handful of small files, but this MSI Laptop has already collected over 102 GB.
That just doesn't sound right to me. A clean install of Windows uses only around 27 gb of space. I have 61 programs installed on mine plus my files and my disk use is 74 gb.
@Flashorn is steering your right. The MSI group live and breathe MSI.

I would still suggest strongly that you visit the MSI forums.
I did that before you suggested. No answer yet.
OK, so I have to ask. How did you get this notebook without a OS and the MSI apps installed.
Notebooks and computers are often sold with a blank disk by authorized dealers. Why should I pay if I have a licence for life?? That is why many people does not want all the rubbish the manufacturers throw in. I thought you knew that.
You seem to have quite a few programs missing and also, have you verified the download page
on MSI site to see if you need to update the BIOS
The programs are not missing, they are options that do not solve my only problem.
BIOS – I see you did not read my posts. It was installed on the very same day of publishing.
From that page, you can see which programs
you Might need. you Might need. BIOS is usually the first to be updated as it might contain updates to the main
components like the motherboard or stability of the notebook.
For now, I'm only interested in drivers and useful programs. I'll see them one by one and pick what I think I need. If necessary, I'll download them to know, and if not desired I uninstall them. This is why all suggestions are always welcome.
Downloads can be done with Firefox even though it asks for Edge or Chrome.
I am never using that two recommended browsers. They spy on us and Bing gives not good suggestions. I use Firefox since it appeared, I can't remember its initial name, just before Netscape. I hate pub, and so I add large lists to the .hosts file and use AdAway on rooted phones. I also use AdAway lists and others on the computer.
Also, is the notebook an English version or other language. It will make a difference when downloading
drivers.
I started with computers on the late 80', before Windows existed. We had to type every command by hand, including the paths. everything was in English, so I never changed and kept it that way.
That's where I downloaded divers from.
The MSI Forums: Register like here and scroll down pass the Pink portion of the Gaming Notebook page.
I know it's a creator but, it will be encompassed in the Gaming notebook's page.
I posted there yesterday about the fingerprinter.
As for the other drivers on your notebook:

GeForce nVidia Drivers. Choose from this page. As I asked, if it's not a supported language on that page
(scroll down to last question and choose from there).

Intel Drivers: Install the Intel & Driver Support Assistant . When installing this "Little" app
be aware that a browser Window will open. It will update from that window. Verify that on
your Taskbar, there will be another app that you do not recognize. Simply click on the app
to have it come to the fore grown (on top of the browser window) and simply click on the
Install button. It will ask also to accept the license and from there will assess the drivers that
need to be updated.
That sounds good. I'll look it up for sure.
Nahimic 3 is the Sound Enhancer for MSI. In the GG app there will also be one Sonar but, best
to use this one.
Unfortunately won't need this because I have a problem hearing with treble sounds.

Yes, it is well known that manufacturers fill their computers with rubbish. So I'lI see what I downloaded and then uninstall them.

Is Windows Insider any worth. It exists for a few years, but I don't know, never cared about.
