So, I switched to foobar 2.1.5. No blue screens yet. Foobar will take some getting used to, but it seems like a nice, stable player.

Another question, then. @Edwin seems to have a compact version of foobar. Is this inherent in the program, or is it a component he installed? I looked at the components, but there are so many. I didn't see one.
