  • Fixed an embarrassing bug in media indexer that discarded multiple values per tag field, keeping only the last one. To make bad data go away, first run will rescan your whole library.
  • Made various track info load operations asynchronous, fixing various UI lag & lockup bugs.
  • Added search to the new settings page.
  • Restored old edge rendering behavior on Android 15.
  • Fixed seeking in tracks played over HTTP not working correctly in certain scenarios.

I used Foobar for years until I changed to JRiver mostly because of its extensive metatag customisation possibilities. Very useful for classical music.

Must say Foobar is nifty little app, still going strong after 22 years and many versions of Windows.

MS kept trying for years to make WMC into a viable multimedia app but typically made it worse with each new iteration.
