Hi,
I have been trying to solve this issue for quite some time. I have recently bought a chinesee laptop with Intel i7-1280P, single channel 16GB DDR4 RAM, and 1TB SSD. Sometimes after the laptop has been woken up from sleep mode the screen completely freezes and sometimes even glitches (video: VID_20240105_005729393~2.mp4). The only way to change that is to force shutdown.
- I have been looking through the Event Viewer but the only critical error is about the fact that "the system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first".
- I have run memtest, but it has found no issues with RAM.
- I have also completely reinstalled windows 11, but with no effect.
and some other stuff, which I am willing to re-do if you advise to do so.
This is my first post, please tell me the information I still need to provide :)

Welcome to the forum :-)

Judging by the video, that appears to be a poorly connected LCD panel. I would RMA the laptop and hope for a replacement.

Since you do not have the problem all the time, and the issue happens when wake from sleep, I would be looking at 3 things; your power settings, a flaky graphics driver that is not handling a power change correctly, or, assuming you are using integrated IRIS graphics, a cpu that is not handling the change of power states right.

Other than that, make sure you have the latest UEFI bios, chipset, and graphics drivers
