Huh - of course that is RTM for 24H2. It is the 25H2 iso that is what we are talking about.

The newer builds are not insider builds! Consider them to be preview builds just like the preview builds that come out every month in advance of the patch Tuesday updates.

Bottom line is you will not have to go "through hoops".

I get that many people would rather not run preview builds, I just wanted to make clear that this is all that the newer builds are even if MS was addressing insiders since the final build had not yet been announced.

But I cannot blame you in the least for playing it safe.

Now, when will they enable the blasted new Start screen?

In my case,I am now down to only my laptop being a laggard - and that is fixable today. I am catching the laptop up by building the SB stick for it now - that way - as soon as GA ships I can do both desktop and laptop simultneously.

I have it on my Dev build, but not on my 26200 builds yet. I know I could use ViveTool, but trying to be patient. Just difficult since I got a taste in the Dev build and REALLY like it.

I went back to it because I wanted to. It was very easy for me to leave the IP. I now can do as I please with what Data I send to MS. The Official build, will or may be on 10.14.2025.

The Enablement Package, took a whole 3 seconds, not counting the reboot.

I still have the Disk Cleanup 194MB bug, with the two reclaimable packages in Component Store.

Checked Windows Update... all it found was a .NET Framework update.

So I'm on: 26200.6584 and I'm still a non-Insider.

Windows 11 25H2 set for public roll out, as final files already live on Microsoft's servers

Microsoft has started uploading Windows 11 25H2 to its servers, which means the public rollout of the update is likely a week or two away.

It’s really up to Microsoft at this point, but references we spotted confirm that Build 26200.6584 is final and being seeded to OEMs as RTM (release to manufacturers).

See nothing new in REVO, I don't see Recall in "Turn Windows Features on and off".

KB5054156 (YELLOW dot), is the Enablement Package, and KB5066613 is the .NET Framework update (4.8.1), for 25H2

Last week was on 23H2 and intended to use that build for awhile longer - but one of the last Updates deleted the folder C:\Windows\System32\Tasks\Microsoft\Windows\SoftwareProtectionPlatform along with the included xml files - while the tasks were still active in Task Scheduler - so Even Viewer was spamming errors every minute. Extracting the xml files from a Windows install was one option - but wth, decided to Select the 24H2 as the targeted feature in Gpedit - and upgrade to 24H2 while expecting some type of failure (since this Windows went through 1 reset since Win 11 was released and was heavily tweaked - not to mentioned removed features like OneDrive).

To my surprise... after the time it would take to install Windows on a HDD (not SSD) - and multiple restarts.... got no error whatsoever. To my shock... it even kept my settings - only resting Device Manager and couple of services. So, no.... copilot, recall, OneDrive - only windows apps like Game Bar and Xbox was added back. No issue and fully stable (as if still on 23H2). Up till Windows 11 - used to be a clean install zealot (convinced that clean install is the only proper way to install Windws or major feature pack - and uprgading is a blashphemy), but this days - if i'm not paid to do this - i just couldn't find the motivation - even for my own PC (unless it brakes - and that's what i expecting, but.... works as intended). And today... i'm on 25H2 (which was goona upgrade anyway - knowing it's just superficial makeup) - sharing the same code with 24H2 underneath).

Regardless that I did an In-Place Upgrade to 25H2 (from 23H2) and I allowed downloading updates during the upgrade, I was still asked to install this in Windows Update:

2025-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 11, version 25H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5065426) (26200.6584)

Which takes me from:
26200.6584 to
26200.6584

Makes total sense.
