Google DNS can't find IP addresses

Worth a try. Have to do some things this morning, but will get the DNS numbers from my satellite service later today. Tx for the suggestion.

(I'm thinking, though, that if I get "Can't find" messages from Google and OpenDNS, I'll almost surely get them from ISP default.)

Yes, Wisewiz, Shutdown your computer, then I would power off / power on everything else.
At the very end , power up your PC when everything is back up.

Update: Made it through yesterday without a single “can’t be found.” The missus reports a couple of them last evening, and I realized that although the router and both of my running office machines have local settings for OpenDNS, hers is locally set to Google Public still, so I’ll fix that this morning and then we’ll see.
