I believe they actually fixed it. I had that unknown shared file entry I couldn't get rid of. Stigg's post caught my attention so I went and looked at my OneDrive. The shared file was there. However this time I was able to remove the entry.

I'm pushing 70 and I have to go up the stairs to get my java fix because ground control is here, in the basement. A little exercise is a good thing.

Seriously though, I don't care for what is being done with these large language models. It's so obvious that they are being designed to cater to people's biases. This is so Orwellian when you think about it... The facts will be whatever you want them to be until Big Brother says otherwise. I'm beginning to think the age of unbiased search engines are about to draw to a close as algorithms are being designed to become more "intuitive". Mercy! I just had a momentary glimpse of an image of an AI whispering sweet nothings in my ear! Perhaps I should back off reading all that sci fi :confused: I hope Start Page never changes.

Gave Dell touch screen with Windows 11 to daughter and got me an OTVOC. Being a PC builder I own many desktop PCs as well. I am a father of five providing PCs, laptops, and tablets for all my family, most of which I have modified, rebuilt, or simply built from scratch. I do not own a cell phone, never have, never will.
For me, AI has proven to be quite useful for purely technical questions and for help in building programming constructs. I've learned to be careful with subjective questions and stay with objective technical use.

Sounds like an argument my daughter would give me. What could possibly go wrong??

I gracefully merge into oblivion. I can do little for the future. I believe I can see where this is going and I don't like it but there is precious little that can be done about it. The genie is out of the bottle. I can speculate and comment to my heart's content but it will change nothing. When I am done they can bury my corpse with the Luddites. Practically every day I see reports of people losing their jobs and careers because they were replaced with AI. What can be said for their futures I wist not. O, brave new world!

I'm not worried about AI biases as i dont use AI for web-searches.. I mostly use AI for coding, calculations, project-theory's, and compile/summarize a lot of data and similar.
I would never use an AI to ask about things in the everyday world, as the AI training-data is 70% peoples opinions they have written online and 20% facts and 10% hallucination if the question was newer then the training-data it has.
This is why a lot of AI's saying it never have been an assassination attempt on Trump. as it happen after the training-data.
So when asking questions its always good to start asking the AI, what date are your last trainings data built on..
That way if you have a question that is newer, always tell it to search online as it is an event after the training data and tell it to say "i dont know the answer" instead of making something up.

So i am not worried about biases.. but people should be really critical and always verify what the AI is saying before making a decision or have an opinion that is based from an answer from an AI. :-)
AI is a really good tool, as long you remembering its just a tool.. nothing more, nothing less. :cool:

I heard Google is going to implement AI in google search, so when they do it, you wont get the results you have today, but AI will summarize the webpage and give its "opinion".. i see this as a danger as you wont get a neutral search and AI hallucination can make a different on the search result.
I dont remember in writing moment where i read/heard this.. but i can look it up later tonight if you want a source instead of make a google search on it. :-)
