Solved Has OneDrive gone insane?!


I've said it 14.3 times before, but there's nothing wrong with encrypting your data before sending it to the clouds. I have clients' data stored like this at Jeff Bezos' house, and I would certainly be in an awful state if someone were able to access some of it.

Okay :-) :-) i could never be without my TV/cinema system.. i like watching movies with a real good sound 🤓
My TV is more of a monitor then a real TV.. i do have cable hooked up to my TV, but i rarely watch normal TV

It is both. Which is also a strength and a weakness. Windows is a compromise OS designed to work pretty much seamlessly with what must be a trillion different combinations of hardware, software, firmware, driver versions and do it with little or no action from the user. Mostly MS locks things down to prevent users from accidentally borking their system. As you know, there are many not too onerous methods to get around almost all of it, to strip the OS down bare. So mostly I fail see the reasoning behind so much dislike for the OS. I touch my keyboard, the system is fully operational in about 5 seconds and I can do anything from playing COD 1, to scanning a document without leaving my easy chair... (granted I would have to put the document in the scanner).

exactly... This is why every user in the world would get a better experience if windows was installed as a bare-boned OS.. then you log in to MS-store and pick your poison... Gaming software and functions... or just office stuff etc. etc.

Dont you agree its better for those who want Xbox to install it, then people dont gaming cant even uninstall it. :rolleyes:
so as you can't uninstall Xbox etc.. then it has to be a Gaming platform OS first..... and not design as an home office OS

There have long been rumors of a modular Windows under various names such as CorePC. Maybe someday we’ll have it, and I think it would be pretty sweet.
