No. It knows when you are on mobile device. Chrome on android is not the same as the Chrome on PC.Also from the browser. I haven't tried to open Spotify in Chrome on my smartphone. Assuming it lets you open it and doesn't direct you to the Spotify app, it should play specific songs also.
