Heat sink for SSD


Unless I misread the manual, only M.2_1 comes with a heatsink. M.2_2 lacks one.
You might be right. Before my previous post, I looked at the motherboard's product page, the overview. It says "M.2 Shield Frozr
These slots keep M.2 SSDs at a good temperature and prevent them from throttling. This allows them to deliver their full speed."

Looking at the manual, the m2_2 slot is lower, and compared to the product photo, there's no heatsink.

The OP has a Silicon Power 1TB P34A60 Gen3x4. They could put it in the m2_2 slot and the new one in the m2_1 slot.
