From everything I have read, you have to opt out, apparently. This must be by country because I have didn’t see this. Australia is pretty hard on US companies and our privacy. The worst case of this I found on the internet was that someone complained that you need to Opt out, not Opt in. Which to me is wrong but… it isn’t a requirement that I know of, it’s an option. Outlook email accounts are in the cloud anyway, it would be 3rd party ISP email addresses I would object to being synced with Microsoft. If they force that, I’ll be following Edwin.

I didn't have to do squat! Just add the accounts..., and, of course, turn off and reject all diagnostic data!

I found another free email app that looks almost identical to Windows Mail. Does everything Mail does. I'm going to switch over when they force Outlook on me.

I think the New Outlook is perfectly fine, except for the manner in which MS solicits an ad free experience!
The Office version of Outlook is a mess.
Thunderbird Supernova is okay.
Mailbird royally shafted myself and hundreds of thousands of other users, so, I'm going with eM Client. Period.

Ok , just uninstalled the "new" one .
We are happy with Office 2021 Pro Plus -Outlook , its fast and works very good...........
Why (??) should we have more then two Outlook-programs ? :wink:

Yeah, I could make mine quicker too but, I just don't care for it.
The native Outlook is not a sufficient Preview Handler, the New Outlook handles almost anything.

One thing I liked about the native Outlook was the ability to create a script based Drag N Drop Outbox!
Not very secure but, very handy!
