How can I defer feature updates in Windows 11?

Chris Titus Winutil script delays it by two years which seems excessive however I am happy to defer by 365 days.

Can anyone advise me how to do this?

Furthermore, is it advisable to delay 'quality updates' by 4 days?

The script only allows deferrals of 365 and 4 days, respectively. You have no other way of changing their pre-defined values without editing it.

The other way is to use a Group Policy to do this.

1. Open the Group Policy Editor.
2. Navigate to Computer Configuration >> Administrative Templates >> Windows Components >> Windows Update >>Manage update offered from Windows Updates.
3. Open the 'Select when Preview Builds and Feature Updates are received' Group Policy.

Updates can be deferred or paused.
It is possible to set a start date for the policy.

No, Group policy editor is not on Windows 11 Home. I am using this method on my Pro machine, but on Home machine, nada; I am hoping that it will be offered as an explicit update/installation requiring a click, but we'll see.
