How do I GET RID of "Family Safety"?!?!?

Windows 11 Pro Version 25H2


Hi All,

I've set up a Win 11 Pro machine and am now having problems with Family Safety.
Im unable to add controllers (Steam \ PS4), I cant run Halo as after login it just runs that busy circle forever.....


When trying to connect a controller, I get the following popup:



I've followed several videos to deactivate Family Safety and rebooted MULTIPLE times but nothing seems to get rid of this nonsense.


- Just thought Id mention in case its an issue....
In Windows Settings => Accounts it doesnt show Administrator under the name?

- However it does show in Accounts => Your Info



- A lot of the suggestions I found said I should go to Accounts => Family and other users... which I dont have.
I did find the Microsoft Family settings in Accounts => Family where I clicked Open Family Settings and was taken to https://account.microsoft.com/family/home
where I removed my login from the family.

- In Task Manager, clicked Services => Found WpcMonSvc service and stopped it.


- In Services, found Parental Controls and Disabled them.



I've shut down and rebooted MULTIPLE times but this nonsense wont go away.

What else can I do to remove "Family Safety" from my computer?

On the Microsoft website

1. Go to family.microsoft.com and sign in with your Microsoft account.
2. Find the person you want to remove from the family group.
3. Click on their name and select "Remove from family group".
4. Confirm the removal.

I see you have tried that.

First thing you need to do is log in under an Admin account.

As far as Im aware, I am?
Im logging in using the account that I used to set the machine up.

Thats not what I said in the first post.
Im unfamiliar with Win 11.
I mentioned it on the off chance it might be an issue.

Why not check for yourself on a Win 11 machine?
If you follow the steps I mentioned, you should see the same results yourself.

Why not check for yourself on a Win 11 machine?
If you follow the steps I mentioned, you should see the same results yourself.

If you haven't done so already it would be a good idea to check that the birth date on your Microsoft Account is correct.

Totally agree.... except he's not trying to help.

If you read the thread, you'll see that he suggested logging in as admin. I responded that I had and he could confirm my screenshots by checking his own win 11 login.
... he then suggested logging in as admin again.

I dont think I've added my DOB details. I'll check that.
