How to enable Wifi in safe mode ?


Most often on computers that have the feature end users logon first and conclude that it does not work.
If again the computer has the feature then connect wifi first then logon.

I just did a test on my new desktop to see if I would have better luck than I did with old desktop. Using EasyBCD I setup a boot entry for safe mode with networking. The only option is airplane mode. Some motherboards will allow Wi-Fi access in safe mode, and some don't, I have two that don't. I hope @William654 has better luck.

You have no icon or no connections listed? When I tried all that was listed was airplane mode. I tried setting up a boot option for safe mode with network and the F5 key.

@William654, it's been a while since I tried getting the Wi-Fi on my old desktop working in safe mode. If I remember right, I found that the problem is with the motherboard and that it's turned off for security. What we need to do is figure out why the app and driver won't install.

That's forgotten. We need to figure out why it won't install and why it needs access to the net. I just did a test install in a Windows 11 VM and it installed without a problem. I don't even have a Sound Blaster card.

Have you checked to see if Sound Blaster has a support forum. They may have a solution.

Yes friend, uninstall and reinstall too. They dont have also offline installter for the updates. I had issues with random sound distortion in games and I emailed them alot but never solved. So I was hoping the new driver might solved the problem because older driver was working fine but any way I advise any one to just use the motherboard built in sound card.

Not related to fixing the issue but, I was in safe mode with networking maybe 3 or 4 days ago, Wifi worked like it usually would.
