How to make find my device accurate ?

Hi

I tested this feature to find my device location but it display it in the map in far away area, is there a way to fix this ?

A lot with the Location involves where your Internet Service is coming from and whether or not a VPN is in use. According to your profile time you are 2 hours East of 0° Longitude [or England] so where your ISP is located will affect the Location. A VPN hides the actual location, I have a client using one in the MT [Mountain] time zone but identifies in the ET zone [East coast of the USA].

Thanks @Berton I know I did not use VPN. I thought it can be accurate like Android find my device but because the phone has GPS.

I never tried the find my device except on my phone. Whenever I have for example, a browser update and I sign into sites such as Facebook I get an emaill warning about a new device signing in and it has my location very close to where I'm at.

I think if they put a gps in the motherboard would be great feature. High end computers are expensive with many personal data. My area is not safe. I am using 2FA but the hardware itself not secure

(y) Putting GPS in laptops would be a great Idea as long as they gave us the option to turn it off if we don't want to be tracked.

This is a tip I want to share. I use Google Maps on my phone and have a couple of Garmin devices. I always set my home location to an area close by and never my actual address. This way if someone hacks my phone or steals my Garmin, they cannot find my home. Thery will arrive at my local police station instead.
