Hi,
I haven't used either one some people I know do ramdisk for virtual machines and some programs they want to give a little kick start

I use primocache, which is a very fast filter driver that caches reads and writes for volumes at the block level, and can be persisted across boots. I can basically cache all of my programs for fast start. This is my 960 pro PCI-E 3.0 with primocache configured for more read cache than write on my E: partition. It is noticeable.
