How to pass the Windows 11 Compatibility Checks

Has anyone installed Windows 11 as per my post 27??? My CPU Is not compatible. I have TPM or Secure Boot not enabled. Yet I have Windows 11 installed!! Please if you can Explain this... I am up and running on a incompatible system! This works!! Please give some backup and install it on a hardware PC with my Post 27 requirement's. I'll reiterate the post.

Here's how. Use the windows 10 download tool and create a bootable USB. Access that USB and go to the sources folder and Delete "Install.esd" Now mount the Windows 11 ISO and copy Install.wim from the sources folder and copy that file to the Windows 10 ISO Sources folder. It was so simple! Anyone out there can do this. You can have Windows 11 without the Bull%^*$. It worked for me and it can for you. I installed as a local and not an MS account.

On one hand, MS did their typical "this OS is gonna run on everything" (including the family toaster).
On the other hand, at least after seeing some of the screenshots... there seems to be a bit more logic to where they put everything.

In Windows 10, which has run absolutely fantastically on my comp, it seems MS was experimenting with where to put all the... Settings. This ofc was not conducive to creating happy campers.

From the few Win 11 screenshots I have seen... it seems they finally figured things out a bit more.
Instead of standing back 10 feet and throwing the settings at the GUI... it seems they put a bit of thought into it, this time.

I guess we'll find out, when it gets officially released.

Don't get me wrong... there's still going to be a lot of stuff that needs disabled, turned off, removed, etc.

And I'm only going by a few screenshots scattered around the web. I'm guessing the sweet spot will be somewhere between Microsoft's imaginings, and.... @Edwin 's :)

Microsoft should hire Edwin, and put him on the GUI design team. He has a good eye for GUI layout.

Yes... But You have older systems. Please! Run my suggestion from post 27 and post your results. I need some backup. Just do it and see if I am right. I know I am! I'm posting from a clean install of Windows 11 now on a incompatible system as per MS...

I think your method is correct (post #27). I think it needs fleshed out a bit. Made more explanatory.
I did test the method in the video. That didn't work as he explained.
In the video, he had an install.wim in both the Win 11 ISO, and the Windows 10 install media.

Even using Rufus, like he did, I couldn't get an install.wim in the Windows 10 install media.
I could only get the install.esd, like you mentioned.

Here was your method for post #27...

I'm guessing you meant: Windows 10 USB Sources folder, instead of: Windows 10 ISO Sources folder.

I'm thinking this is what you did...

1. Use the Media Creation tool to create a bootable Win 10 USB.
2. Access that USB, go to the Sources folder and delete: install.esd
3. Mount the Windows 11 ISO and go to it's Sources folder, and copy: install.wim
4. Go back to the Win 10 USB, Sources folder and paste the install.wim file in there.

In my post I worded it as a tech would understand. Just follow the steps and you will have a clean install of Win 11. Just as I am posting here from Windows 11 on a incompatible system. Go figure MS.

My problem with post #27 directions were that you called it a Win 10 ISO, after it was on the USB stick.
Once it's on the USB stick, it's no longer an ISO.

Anyway... kudos on getting it to work.

Just do it and you'll see!! I know it sounds confusing but it just works! Test it!! Or do you know what you are doing....

I'm posting from an MS Incompatible system now... What dose that say about MS.
