I would like to keep some of the widgets, but not the constant Microsoft news feed. How do you keep widgets like the weather or stocks going but not be constantly force fed Microsoft's news selections. I have tried turning off individual news organizations but there is just too many. You block 50 and there are 50 more of the exact same type. Unless it is possible to completely turn off just the news feed in Windows 11 then I feel Microsoft is forcing their opinions on me when that's pretty well the last thing I want out of them.

It might serve the purpose to click the gear at top right of the widgets list then choose Information cards and turn off those not desired.

Thanks for the response. You will notice that "news" is not among the card choices you can turn off. My version looks a little different and I did temporarily turn off "Recommended by Microsoft," but that had no effect on the news feed. There seems to be no way to turn it off, and makes me consider whether I should keep the widget page or not. At present I have just loaded a number of widgets onto the main page so that the news feed starts below my sight line if I just want to quickly check the weather or stocks etc. It's a workaround.
