My HP Laptop - 15-ef1079nr that came with Windows 10 originally and was later upgraded to Windows 11 has been experiencing some sleep mode issues for I am going to guess or say about a week. It will sit idle and the screen will go black as if it is trying to go to sleep, but the power light button never goes to a flashing light indicating that it's asleep after it's been idle. The light always stays solid white. Yesterday, it got so bad that it drained my battery instantly which I had to plug the charger up to it. I changed internet providers, so I don't know if changing the wireless networks have something to do with or not.
Have you re-checked the power options in Control Panel>Power Options and check all the options on the left, even if they don't seem relevant especially the top and bottom options.

@jessewilliams56, have you checked in Device Manager to see if there is an update for the videocard driver? I know from past experience that everytime I had a problem with my computers going into sleep mode it was caused by the videocard driver.

@zbook: On it now! Sorry, wasn't feeling well earlier so I took a nap. That's why I am a little late in replying to you.
Now, I have to have my McAfee antivirus. So, is it going to hurt to reinstall it afterwards? I know a lot of people say having one is a waste of money now a days. But when you have one offered for free from your ISP, it isn't a waste of money. I think it is very good to have an active and updated antivirus program on any computer.

@zbook: When I ran the tune-up bat, it copied and pasted the results into the Notepad. But it said at the very end of the results, the following:
[BcdEdit /enum {badmemory}]
RAM Defects
-----------
identifier {badmemory}
Does this mean that my RAM - Memory is bad? The computer is still under warranty. So, if that's the case, I can contact HP and have them replace/repair it.
