I noticed in reliability monitor, HP one agent keeps reconfigurating. I did not install HP one agent, do not use it and do not know that it does. I have uninstalled it several times thru windows and it just reinstalls itself. I have got the latest revo uninstaller and have uninstalled it. I can find no traces of it but when I reboot it reinstalls itself. It's not in auto runs or task scheduler. When it's installed it is set to autorun. I set it to manual, reboot and it cahnges to autorun. The other HP software installed is HP Audio Switch, HP Connection Optimizer, HP Software Framework Running 23h2 Build 22631.3085
HP drivers installed are

its possible that hp hardware you have connected is automatically reinstalling this tool.

Looking it up it seems to be used for managing hp devices

I too had this problem for days. Found using autoruns (Autoruns64a.exe) it's this HP program :

AddHPConsentManagerLauncherScheduledTask.exe in this PC Windows (C) Program Files HP

I removed it and it's not reinstalling now. autoruns is great for removing all the HP Junk

Good Luck

You need to disable including drivers with Windows Updates in Windows 11 and you can use AdwCleaner to remove HP bloatware.

Have you run the program Autoruns.exe ? Deleting one agent is one thing but you MUST also disable it and all the other HP tasks in the Windows Task scheduler

This is an old thread, but because this problem seems to plague a lot of HP users, here's how to get rid of HP One Agent permanently.

How to uninstall HP One Agent

1. Open the HP Privacy Settings app
2. Click on "No to All"
3. Click Done
4. Uninstall HP One Agent with Revo Uninstaller

or
1. Open the MyHP app
2. Click on "Settings"
3. Click on "Privacy"
4. Click on "Click here"
5. Click on "No to All"
6. Click Done
7. Uninstall HP One Agent with Revo Uninstaller

This process tells HP that you don't give them permission to see your activity, which appears to be the main purpose of this program.

It's been gone from my computer for a few weeks, and three weeks ago I set up a friend's new laptop and turned off all the privacy settings, and she doesn't have HP One Agent running on her system. I think it's a permanent fix.

The proper way IMO would be to stop the scheduled task that keeps reinstalling the app. See BV92 (3rd post here) What exactly is "HP One Agent" and how do I stop Windows from reconfiguring it daily?
The proper way to remove this insidious program is the one I outlined above. Forget about autoruns, disabling tasks, disabling services, show/hide, etc. Just turn off all three privacy permissions and uninstall with Revo Uninstaller. All these other "solutions" will fail as soon as Windows Update installs the next update, and updates are fairly frequent.

Glad to help. I, too, spent way too much time, first trying to find out what it did and then to be permanently rid of it. I've posted this method on a few other sites I've seen people post about this program. The explanation for what the privacy settings do is misleading. On top of the difficulty getting rid of HP One Agent, this pretty much confirms that this monitoring/telemetry program is for HPs benefit, not ours.
