Solved I am unable to attach a USB Keyboard

I have a Keychron Q1 keyboard that I use with a Kamrui mini PC it has always worked plugged directly in. I use this keyboard with a Mac Studio on Bluetooth, and on the PC via USB, I switch it between Mac/Bluetooth, and PC/USB. Here is the problem. I don't use this machine that much I booted it up and it told me the USB device not recognized because the last device plugged in was faulty. The Q1 was all that was ever plugged into this USB port I have switched cables and ports, no joy. I am typing on another keyboard plugged into the same port. There is nothing wrong with the Q1 it works fine both with BT and USB on the Mac Studio. How do I clear this so the PC will recognize this keyboard, my Windows chops are fading.

I am running a fully updated version of Windows 11 Home 23H2 # 22631.4169

Maybe a port assignment conflict. See if this makes a difference. Try going into device manager, expand keyboards, right click on each one listed and delete. Shut down windows, plug in usb KB and turn on. When windows boots, it should reinstall the KB.

Well this is strange. The USB side of this Keychron Q1 has failed. I went into device manager and the keyboard was there. but the diagnostics said its drivers were bad. A trip to load new ones failed as the download launcher failed to see the Keyboard. I am now going to reset the keyboard and see if that clears it.

Did the reset and it still will not connect either with the Mac Studio or the PC via a USB cable, OK with BT. and the driver download page does not see the keyboard.

I using a Keychron Q10 it is simply a USB keyboard. It has the heft of a cast iron frypan. But I made the mistake of getting one with the left side keypad I thought I could get used to it, never happened.

I used this opportunity to dip into the settings on this keyboard. I have always plugged in the USB cable because this is a RGB keyboard and the backlight eats up the batteries fast for a wireless keyboard. But it can pair with up the 3 BT devices. fn-1 or 2 or 3. Before I updated to macOS 15 it was the apple that was not cooperating with this. I had to go into the Bluetooth setting to re-pair it. Now I just do the fn-1 for the Mac and FN-2 for the PC, and finally Fn-3 for the iPad. You don't learn if you don't burn
