Solved If I reset my PC will I lose everything on every drive?

Where I'm getting at is if I reset my PC with the option to remove everything will it not just remove everything from my C drive but also my other drives?

No,it wont delete anything from other drives but any links to them will be invalidated and drives/partition letters may be changed. Some programs installed on other drives may not work any more. Essentially all is same as if windows are cleanly installed.

To be on the safe side you could unplug the drives before doing the reset. Another thing I would suggest is to aways have backups of all important files.

True, but it is easier to accidentally wipe other data partitions/drives doing a clean install.

Of course, whichever way one chooses, crap can happen, so as @Winuser says, backup of important files is (imo) essential.

That's what I ended up doing in the end. Better safe than sorry!
