There will be a popup with options
on itDon't use anything, during Windows install select Advanced/Custom and delete all the partitions on which Windows will be installed, those are usually 4 partitions on Drive 0, then just continues the install, no need to reformat or partition, the installer will do it automatically.

bout to try this :)@RandomGuyinIT,
First, welcome to ElevenForum!
If you don't mind trying this, I would appreciate it. This would answer some questions for me as well.
Go to the link below to access the Windows Insider builds. The latest preview release of Windows available there is 26100.1150. Grab that image and make your installation media with it. Try installing that build. After installation is done, either allow Windows update to install the latest updates which will bring you to the most recent build, or, if you prefer, you can download that update manually and install it.
I suspect that this will work. I will explain why once you report back with your results.
NOTE: You do not need to be enrolled in the insider program to use this.

This is the one you want to download:

I just try this aswll same result stuck at 5 then Windows installation failed24H2 Setup is a bit wonky compared to its predecessors.
Since you used a secure wipe feature to erase the drive, it's either lacking a recognized disk layout (as written by a Windows host) or randomized junk is sitting inside of the reserved partitions. Try these steps:
1. Boot 24H2 from USB, and stop at the first screen.
2. Open a CMD window with Shift-F10.
3. Run diskpart.
4. Continue with the normal Windows Setup.Code:list disks (carefully check which disk is the NVME) select disk [n] clean convert gpt exit exit
Did that aswell didn't workJust delete all partitions on disk 0 and click next, don't do anything else.
I have a second usb ready with 23h2 because you never know and if i use that all I work perfect. And i have 1tb nvme space isn't an issueYou had Windows 11 23H2 running on it and it meets all the rquirements for 24H2 (?)
A clean install needs about 30+ GB

I can try@RandomGuyinIT, want to do a simple experiment?
1. Take your 24H2 USB drive, copy \sources\install.wim to a local folder on your PC.
2. Take your 23H2 USB drive, overwrite the \sources\install.wim with this copy.
3. Boot from the 23H2 USB. You're now installing the 24H2 image using the 23H2 ISO. Does that finish?
4. If that works, 24H2 Setup is being picky about something.

Ryzen 3600 yes i did and ye both usb are 32gbWhat's your CPU? Did you download the x64 (AMD64) version from uupdump? Are your usb drives 8GB or more?
The CPU seems to support SSE4.2 and POPCNT required by 24H2
Well at this points I'll just wait for the rtm. About uup I left the pc do something else then check. And when is done it'd literally tell me in the cmd screenMaybe the uupdump download didn't finish, it takes me over 30 to 40 minutes to create the iso from uupdump, and I've been using it for years no problems. There's no direct download for 24H2 from Microsoft because it's still a preview, and you have to sign up as an insider to download it.
That's why when I do a clean install, I let the installer delete all partitions. Then I let the installer create the needed partitions. Who knows what partitions and their sizes needs to be? Windows installer knows.I believe the error code might arise if you do not have enough space on your disk or in the System Reserved Partition. I think I got it trying to update my sons PC if I recall correctly?
Fair problem is it's still doesn't workThat's why when I do a clean install, I let the installer delete all partitions. Then I let the installer create the needed partitions. Who knows what partitions and their sizes needs to be? Windows installer knows.
I was replying to @antspants but I do see that you still can't get it to install. If you haven't already tried it and you really want to test 24/H2, you could try doing a clean install of the released version of Windows 11 and doing a in place upgrade install with the 24/H2 ISO.Fair problem is it's still doesn't work
