Intel® UHD Graphics 770 Latest Drivers

Where to download latest Drivers for Intel® UHD Graphics 770? On Intel site are old Drivers. I have May 2023 Drivers installed. On Windows Update there are no new version.

Intel UHD graphics is based on the Alder Lake GT1 graphics processor which came out in 2021 so Intel will give you the appropriate driver if you use Intel Driver and Support Assist tool.
Get it from Intel site. Go here and click get started. Download Intel Drivers and Software
I would NEVER let Windows update handle my graphics driver.

I use the Intel Arc & Iris drivers on my UHD Graphics 770, latest version 31.0.101.4644 WHQL Certified.

I took your suggestion and downloaded and installed and ran that tool. I am a bit concerned about the fact that the "In Progress" spinner has been spinning for about ten minutes now. Any idea why? It identified my CPU and the graphics onboard, so I was confident that it knew what it was doing, but this ...?

EDIT: Fifteen plus now and still spinning. Nothing should take this long on that computer. Nothing. Not even a fresh install of Windows takes this long.

EDIT: Over twenty minutes now. I'm thinking I should kill the process in Task Manager, and if the result is a mess, I have an image from late lats night I can restore. Any thoughts?

@Wisewiz That happens every one in a while in the scanning stage. Just close it and open it again. It's always worked for me. I don't think the scanner ever starts on Intel's end. If it's working, a scan comes back in about 30-60 seconds.

I've had that before and for the life of me, I didn't click on the install button that might be hidden a bit.
I have the Iris Xe graphics on the CPU and when I clicked on the Install button, it will ask a few more questions and install.
I felt well...

Thank you both. That was interesting. A little scary, but interesting. When I installed the tool and ran it, it opened a browser window, where I had to agree to whatever and hit Install. It was in that browser window that the spinner spun and ... you know, and after all that time, I just closed that window, and LO and BEHOLD, (Flashorn) there was a big black panel hiding behind the browser window, and it had an INSTALL button on it. Wella, wella, wella. Surely Intel can do a better job of making that more obvious. Anyway, I clicked permission for a Clean Install, and about thirty seconds later, maybe less, it reported that it had completed that and was now installing a new HD Audio driver. That took no more than ten seconds, and the report was that the tool was finished.

Okay, so two bad things: it didn't give me any choice about where it was going to be installed, and the Run process was bloody opaque. There was no way I could see that installation panel other than to give up on the perpetual spinner in the browser window and kill the browser, and there it was ... the REAL installation control.

Thank you both for the support. It's great to have more knowledgeable friends when you need them.

Oh, one more Bad Thing: It installed two brand new services and set them running and on automatic start at logon.

So, it doesn't wait for me to run it and check for driver updates; it runs all the danged time. Autoruns confirmed this. Hmmm.

OK, now I don't feel so bad.
If you had looked at your taskbar, you'd have seen that there was a program that was new.
That's how I found out. hence the hidden install button.
I have it running when the OS starts and when it has a green bubble , I simply exit the program
from the hidden icons on the taskbar.

If you have BOTH Nvidia graphics and Arc graphics installed there may be a problem with the overlay not working....
You can keep your old Arc overlay when you upgrade.
Or you can re-install the working Arc version by opening the Intel install file (I use 7zip) and go into gfx_win_101.4369.exe\Resources\Extras\ and locate IntelArcControl.exe and run it. Uninstall previous version first!

Yeah, well. I guess I was so fascinated by the seemingly forever spinner that I didn't look at the taskbar.
Anyway, I found the installer control finally, and everything went well, and then I put the program on my older desktop (W11 non-compliant only on processor generation) and ran it, this time looking for the big black control panel, and it did the job fairly quickly.

Interesting Sunday morning.

@Wisewiz I just turned off Autostart for IDSA and manually run it when I want to. It does have a couple of services that will run all the time but they have no ill effect for me. Since IDSA is not running only the updater actually does anything until DSA is started manually. One could disable them until ready to manually check for drivers if they are concerning to you.
It seems Intel updates the wifi and bluetooth drivers every month and the graphics every couple of months. It takes months before I see these drivers on Dell's site. Why it takes so long, I have no idea.

Thanks for that. That's exactly what I wanted: an on-demand-only utility. I hadn't considered stopping and disabling the two services, but that's easy enough. Then, if I run the program once a month, say, I can start the services before I run the program, and stop them when the program has done its stuff. The autostart has me puzzled, though. It's not in either Startup folder, and it's not in Task Manager startups, so where did you disable it? Is there a switch in the program itself?

@Wixwiz Sorry, Scratch disabling IDSA autostart. It was the Intel Graphics Command Center I disabled. (My sometimers kicked in.) For IDSA, disabling the services should be all you would need to do.

@glasskuter: I was thinking that, so I tried it, and sure enough, there's no discernible activity from the utility with the services disabled. It runs from the services. Once they were shut down, Autoruns didn't find a thing.
