Just setup my iPhone on Windows Phone Link. The bluetooth pairing went well. Upon opening Phone Link, it downloaded the notifications that were on my phone over the past few days, but not the recent texts. The app says it will show texts after the phone was set up. In the past, I used Dell Mobile connect on my phone, but had issues with that app. Anyone on the forum use an iPhone with Phone Link? It's now available.

There is still no full-fledged support, so it is too early to use it.
I only use the VLC media player for file sharing between iOS and Windows.

It took a bit of work to finally get the PC and iPhone connected.
  • call history is available and calls can be made from the PC.
  • the Messages section is empty so not notifications or messages pulled from the iPhone
It might be a little easier to use the PC keyboard to write text messages, but only it it also has word prompts like on the phone.

On Phone Link app, I'm not able to access files or pictures stored on the iPhone, but I use OneDrive to store pics from the iPhone and can view them on the OneDrive app on the iPhone. The Phone Link app seems to work fine for making calls and texting from a PC. Just need a microphone on your PC.

iPhone on Phone Link is like throwing the dog some scraps. It might keep the dog interested but it is what it is....just scraps

I appreciate it. Not much problems and I get notifications fine, which is enough for now.
