I do have my fans currently running at practically non-existent (so I can at least troubleshoot in peace). But if temperatures are an issue then I can always turn them up if needed

Could it be referring to these? I've heard that drivers that aren't automatically updating are fine to move on (hence the reply to abactuon) but otherwise I can try looking to resolve these drivers

1. Bummer
2. Yes
3. Yes

Also, check optional updates in Advanced section of windows update.

If the Sea Tools Long Generic test results displays pass then run administrative command prompt: chkdsk /b /v

Make sure that the chkdsk switches run overnight while sleeping.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>chkdsk /b /v C:

Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another

Have you installed the Intel chipset drivers?

at the time of the screenshot no, but they have been installed since

but to give an update on things, I went through all different kinds of disk checking utility (seagate, aoemi and so on) and all of them came back with clean results. Eventually I decided to just bite the bullet and order a cheap nvme drive (which honestly would've been better to do anyways) and lo and behold, the very first attempt at installing windows came out perfectly fine without any issues

so i think it was indeed a drive issue (unless the nvme slot on the motherboard is somehow problematic). now it's just getting in touch with crucial support (to which I haven't heard the best of news when it comes to outside the US)

Yes it does sound like the T700 is faulty. Have you tried running it at Gen 4 speed (can be set in BIOS I think) ?

That was actually one of the things I was planning to do. atm I'm running the drive with a cloned perfect install (from the new drive i bought) to see how things end up, but if (feels like when at this point lol) the drive ends up borking I was planning on testing it on a different slot before packing it up
