Hi everyone,
I’m looking at buying a Windows 11 Pro FPP USB retail box and I noticed that there seem to be two versions of the packaging.
One is completely factory shrink-wrapped in plastic, while the other has a small grey tear-off security seal/tab on the side.
Is there any actual difference between these two versions? Are they both genuine retail/FPP versions, or does the different packaging indicate a different release, region, or type of license?
Also, which of these two packages is newer? Does the newer packaging come with a newer Windows 11 installer/build on the USB, or is the installer essentially the same and it doesn't really matter which version I buy?
Would there be any advantage to choosing the newer package?
I’d appreciate any information from someone familiar with Microsoft retail packaging and FPP licenses.
Thanks!
