Is there something wrong with my boot disk

Nothing happens, but found the attached (below) on my desktop:

Applications
System
Looking at your system eventview log; I can see that;
- You are using an ASUS Prime B530M-A motherboard.
- You're secure boot certificate has been updated but not fully applied it yet. (TMP-WMI error: 1801) If you are using secure boot you may follow this guide to fix it; How to check if your Secure Boot certs are updated. (two methods)

Further I see one major problem. One of your disk shows controller errors. That's the controller on your SSD/HDD. It occurred on 11-12-2025 (yesterday) between 19:07-19:30. It has the following name; \Device\Harddisk10\DR10. Maybe it's a external SSD/HDD. It happend only once. Maybe you can remember what you did/noticed arround that time.

I also had the same TMP-WMI error some time ago. What I did was the following; To make sure that CA2023 is installed; Open a CMD box as admin; execute the following commands;

Query the status first:
reg query HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecureBoot\Servicing /v UEFICA2023Status
reg query HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecureBoot\Servicing /v WindowsUEFICA2023Capable

If the see the following settings; you're good. Then run the scripts I mentioned above.
UEFICA2023Status REG_SZ Updated
WindowsUEFICA2023Capable REG_DWORD 0x2

Note:
0x0 – Windows UEFI CA 2023 certificate is not in the DB (or key does not exist).
0x1 – Windows UEFI CA 2023 certificate is in the DB.
0x2 – Windows UEFI CA 2023 certificate is in the DB and the system is starting from the 2023 signed boot manager.

When Status = NotStarted and Capable = 0x0 or 0x1 your CA2023 certificate is not yet fully installed then run the following commands;

reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecureBoot /v AvailableUpdates /t REG_DWORD /d 0x5944 /f
schtasks /run /tn "\Microsoft\Windows\PI\Secure-Boot-Update"

Run the last line a couple of times to force that script to get that certificate from Microsoft.
Query the status again. Keep trying until you get the green status.
When that is the case execute the following command to make sure the request is: None;

reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecureBoot /v AvailableUpdates /t REG_DWORD /d 0x0 /f

It is maybe wise to filter your system logbook for errors; There were 8 critical improper shutdowns. But some errors (many!) that keep on occurring; NetBT an Service Control Manager. Worth investigating how to get rid of those errors.

NetBT points out that IP: interface with IP-adres 192.168.1.18 is not allowed by 192.168.1.17 (your PC?) inside WORKGROUP. Your internal network should allow 192.168.1.* (IP is coming from your modem, most of them are starting with an internal IP address; 192.168.*.*) For some reason a device with 192.168.1.17 is banned.

The secure boot update is always showing 'in progress'. How long should it take?

That error was a USB key.
The BSODs have been occuring when my Paragon Hard Disk Manager 17 is running two scheduled back-ups.
I have scheduled daily backups of my C Drive at 12:05pm.
I have twice weekly of my D Drive at 12.15pm. The C Drive backup is finished in that time.
However, if the PC is off when these two have been scheduled, they run a few minutes after the next boot into Windows. Sometimes the two starting at the same time have caused these BSODs.
I have put in a request to Paragon to look into it for me.

Here is the result of the Secure Boot check:

The secure boot update is always showing 'in progress'. How long should it take?
That scheduled task that you call (schtasks /run /tn "\Microsoft\Windows\PI\Secure-Boot-Update" It runs once every 12 hours normally)
If the status is "InProgress" that means it's busy to getting the DB database updated. That should disappear after a couple of runs as I showed you earlier. It should not keeping that status all the time. The next status should be "Updated" That's why you should force it a couple of times. Reboot your system maybe once. (It's isn't clear if that's needed. I suspect it's a way to force that task to run. Some people rebooted, others didn't)

Your supplied information;
The list should contain 2 sets; Current and Default. It will do that for the UEFI PK, UEFI KEK, UEFI DB. The number of entry's of the current and the default setting at each UEFI section should always be the same. The only thing that is important is the current values. The default value would be the settings if you reset it all. It will fill the default values inside the current ones. All of this is inside a piece of NVRAM (flash memory in which also resides your BIOS and it's settings.) One thing stands out; Canonical Ltd. Master Certificate Authority? Have you installed under Linux for Windows; Unbuntu??

What I find strange; Your current UEFI KEK; entry X Microsoft Corporation KEK 2K CA 2023 is not OK. (Should be also √ Microsoft Corporation KEK 2K CA 2023 (revoked: False)) It is strange that X Microsoft EUFI CA 2023 is mentioned twice in the DB.
Saw now that cjee21 has released a new version of his Check-UEFISecureBootVariables-main package that slightly differ from the one I used. Download this new version and this is my result; (I have an ASUS Prime Z690-A motherboard)

Check PK,KEK,DB,DBX.webp

Beside that KEK issue; your output: You need to run "Apply KEK & DB update.cmd" because your DB needs some serious updating too. In his script he also runs that sheduled task to force things. In the previous version he just says "reboot your system" He is also convinced that a reboot is not necessary (as am I) But before all of this make sure that is getting: UEFICA2023Status REG_SZ Updated

Ah. I see the problem.

You have to run:
reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecureBoot /v AvailableUpdates /t REG_DWORD /d 0x5944 /f
schtasks /run /tn "\Microsoft\Windows\PI\Secure-Boot-Update"

As I said earlier.

The first line says "I request an update" So that value 0x0000 says at the moment; No request is made. You have to change that to 0x5944. A request is than made to the Secure-Boot-Update script. The next line will run that script and sees that 0x5944 and will start his job. The end result should then be;

UEFISecureBootEnabled : 1
AvailableUpdates : 0x0000
UEFICA2023Status : Updated
WindowsUEFICA2023Capable : Windows UEFI CA 2023 certificate is in the DB and the system is starting from the 2023 signed boot manager.

If after this the AvailableUpdates stays on 0x5944 and the UEFICAStatus - Updated and WindowsUEFICA2023Capable - Windows UEFI CA 2023 certificate is in the DB and the system is starting from the 2023 signed boot manager. THEN you should run;
reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecureBoot /v AvailableUpdates /t REG_DWORD /d 0x0 /f

I suspect that once that Secure-Boot-Update script is done it will reset that value to 0x0000. There should not be a need to do that by hand.

Looking at this output; That's it. You are done. CA2023 is successfully implemented into your Windows system. Now we have to wait until all the files which are signed with CA2011 (most of all the files are now (that has been signed) ) will be replace by files signed with CA2023. They will be replaced by a future build update. But your system is now ready for it.
