Issues upgrading from 10 Pro to 11 Pro

I'm having issues trying to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro. At first I received errors that TPM 2.0 wasn't activated and Secure Boot was not on. I turned these items on and then could not boot when I turned on Secure Boot. I turned CSM off and Secure boot on.

Next I did some reading on the subject and found that when I first installed the computer I did not use UEFI. I then used EaseUS Partition Manager and changed my SSD from MBR to GPT. This did not help at all. I have tried several different things but I can only boot from a flash drive. The install will not work this way either as it still sees my Secure Boot not turned on.

I think part of the problem is how my drives are setup. The secondary Toshiba HDD is listed as drive 0 with 500 MB FAT32 partition and remaining 2 GB as NTFS.

My Samsung SSD has 3 partitions all showing as NTFS (screenshot attached)

This is my work computer and I don't want to have to install fresh as there are many emails, apps and such. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get around formatting and doing a fresh install? I'm thinking there is another step I need to do concerning the C: drive. Any suggestions are welcome.

Welcome to the forum. As you have changed thing around thats why it cant boot. Your solutions if get a boot free disk clone boot from that make an image of windows. Then disconect second disk and swap cables so c: is drive 0 and the second drive will be 1 but dont leave it connected. Then setup bios correctley tmp, secure boot ,uefi then boot 11 install and during it delete all partitions let windows create correct ones. It should install ok and activate. You can then connect second drive and get back any data you want as you can mount the image as a drive

Your drives are a big mess. The EFI Fat32 partition is on the drive 0. It should be on same drive as the OS, drive 1. It seems it is booting from drive 0 and then transferring the boot sequence to drive 1. This happens when you install on a new drive without disconnecting the others.
This is quite easy to fix.
As already asked, post the results of diskpart - List disk

Clean install 11 and use your MS Account to activate 11.
On a brand new Samsung 870 EVO 500GB or 1TB


And of course you have to set your Bios correctly this time.

But seeing it`s a work PC, there is no reason to upgrade it to 11.
You are wasting your time.

Easiest way to fix this is to move efi partition to drive 1 but you will need to shrink C drive first. You will need to use a 3rd party partition manager like Easeus Partiton Manager.
