Lets see if anyone has any more ideas

I installed all the redistributables directx and a so on. yes all of them.

I also installed some iis stuff that ive seen someone else with this issue say it fixed it for them, but it didnt work for me.

So if anyone has any more ideas ill offer a virtual beer

IIS as in Microsoft Internet Information Services? Why did you need to install that exactly? And why are you installing DirectX?
Is this game related? An old game?

You have made no reference to what you’re trying to do or why you’re installing any of this. When the error shows, what you were trying to do before the error shows. Please explain.

First off, I’d probably uninstall IIS “stuff”

Yes this is game related... the oldest game with this issue on my system is from 2014

What is the oldest game called?

Do you have .Net framework enabled?
I don’t get the necessity to have IIS installed, regardless of the age of the game. (But I don’t know everything)
Usually, the install procedure of a game would install the required DirectX version needed for that particular game.
Generally, a game from back then would require DirectX 10. Although DirectX 12 was available in 2014. I believe Windows 11 has DirectX 12 preinstalled.

Actually, I still play Unreal Tournament - Black Edition 32 bit on 11 and it still plays well.
This is a game from 2007. I also have quite a few more 32bit games that play well in 11
This is through Steam so, it might be different if installed through an .exe or DVD.

i tried reinstalling... yes the game installs its own directx and redistr... still doesnt work
i tried win7 compatibility still nothing

Im pretty sure i played this game before on win10... thats why its extra baffling
