You and I, @hsehestedt, are talking about Thio Jame's single change to the regular clean install that makes use of the English (World) setting and nothing more.

Chris Titus also done a video on the English (World) too. It's included in the YouTube Video that I posted above. He done that with the script in the same video.

The trouble with that is the keyboard goes bonkers with "Eng Intnl" which means for some keys you actually have to type them in twice before the keysroke appears on the screen.

I´d rather stick with the std option and use a "normal keyboard" that doesn´t require a double keystroke to enter a letter , character etc.

I did it on a spare computer and I didn't have any problem

Jimbo,

I've not noticed any such difficulties, at least not here in the United States. Note that you are NOT altering the setting for the keyboard type - leave that as appropriate for your location. You are altering only the "Time and currency format".

Also, after installation, even that setting gets altered back to the settings appropriate for your region.

0 difficulties here as well.

Perhaps you could take a closer look at the instructions. Because the KB is not what is changed. As @hsehestedt mentioned above.
