I have a MS Surface pro laptop running windows 11 home with two wireless printers. A BT business smart hub 2 provides internet and wireless network. All has been working fine for several months, however recently I had problems printing to wireless printers and mapped drives were no longer connected. I found that if I connect the laptop by cable to my router, printing and mapped drives become available. If I disconnect the cable and switch to wireless the printers become offline and mapped drives are not connected. If I reattach the cable everything comes back. I also have a spare laptop running Ubuntu, this works fine with the printers wirelessly or wired. I need to use windows for work and the wireless ability for printings and scanning is important, I don't think there is anything wrong with the wireless network given it works with a cable connection and on Ubuntu it just won't connect the laptop over wifi for the printers or mapped drive. Internet works fine on the laptop over wifi. Any advice appreciated.
