Laptop with really good sound

I currently have an HP Spectre x360 which is beginning to show it's age. Looking for a replacement Windows laptop with really good external speakers.

Any good solid recommendations? Looking to spend between 1000 - 1500.

I also have an X360 and have twice replaced the battery. It is my travel laptop and is still going strong. My daily driver is an ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED. It is available in a few different configurations, with or without touchscreen. The latter is cheaper, but they should be in your price range. The sound is reasonable, but you are never going to get good from a thin laptop.

Laptops due to their design are almost restricted to provide good sound.
You basically trade portability for sound performance among other things.
You better off using external speakers when you are not roaming.

Download this:

All you need to do is raise the Gain knob at the top.
Play some music and turn the gain to just before the clipping point.
Mine is set to +43.
