I did my first cut on Friday, removing pretty much all the grass and leaving me with a lush lawn of moss :crys: I'm not even going to try to fix it this year, I'm going to call a company out to treat and scarify, etc.

Tell me about it! My back lawn is more moss than grass this year. I'm hoping that will change this summer, I've had the Leylandii cur down that were keeping it in deep shade.... :crossed

I spent weeks last year scarifying, treating, and seeding, and it still looked crap; this year, I'm just going to get somebody else to do it - If I can find somebody, as nobody I emailed over the weekend has got back to me yet.

Hello John my lawn has had its third cut last week and this morning we had a frost and by Thursday it will be back in the eightys.
