Hoping all turns out well for you. Similar happened to me in the summer. Went to the docs for abdominal pain and he said, "What's that!?" pointing at a large but flat mole on my stomach. It was a melanoma that got sorted out pretty quickly (ended up with a 10 stitch cut). The pain turned out to be an Inguinal Hernia that has also since been operated on. I hadn't been worried about the mole seeing as how it wasn't raised but if I hadn't gone about the stomach pain, who knows how that would have ended.
Morning Mart. I had a similar experience with a lesion on my lower eyelid. I went into hospital with a nose bleed that wouldn't stop and ended up with surgery to remove the lesion and reconstruct the eyelid.

Yes, thanks Mart. This was back in 2008. The surgery was done at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead. They didn't get it all the first time so I had to have micro surgery to remove the rest. That was the scary bit as it was done under a local anaesthetic.
I've had no problems with it since.
