I have developed a strict routine, updating as many of them as possible in parallel. I'm probably as efficient at that as I can be now, typically taking 8 hours from the start of PT to get 6-8 machines updated/cleaned/backed up. This invariably means I go 'radio-silent' every 2nd Tuesday of the month :wink:

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

Good afternoon, Bree. Good to be here. You know how it is - work ebbs and flows sometimes. I've jumped on a lot of committees in the department recently to show my commitment to departmental service. Those take up time. We're also planning a conference for June 26, 2023. That's a ton of work. Then, I have my regular grading to do. Things will eventually calm down, though. Not too bad, just a long time from start to finish. PT starts at 6pm my time, and there are a few quiet spells while all are updating or backing up. I fit my supper time around those, or watch some TV.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.
