Animal Behavioral experts, discourage feeding of wild animals. It is said that doing so causes them to lose their fear of humans, which can lead to not so nice outcomes, for both human and animal. Sometimes resulting in the animal being put down. Also stressed, is that they become dependent on the supplied food source, and begin to lose the ability to hunt naturally.

It is highly discouraged here.

That is why we are so careful, foxes in the past we have fed have out lived their expected lifespan in the wild and we have never lost one, luckily here the nearest farm is miles away and as I said earlier I keep that wild instinct and where we live they don't come into contact with other humans, and yes we discourage it also but we are part of the WWT, RSPB WT

Possibly something in their breeding, we had a GSD once who was a bit vicious and later found out his parents were rescue dogs because of ill treatment
