I like Firefox much more than Chrome or Edge, but anyone who's used Firefox long enough knows it's a good idea to wait until you find out what the update will break before installing it.

Most of the time there's nothing to worry about, but there have been some really bad updates in the past. The problem is caused by a conflict between the consumer's need of a reliable product and the need for coders to justify their salaries by coming up with something new.

I'm sure it's possible for someone to have used FF for decades with ever getting a bad update, but I HAVE had some bad updates from Firefox, and there are millions of others who have also had bad updates. This is irrefutable, so why challenge reality with an anecdote?

Not challenging anything , it is a statement of Fact. I have never got an update from Firefox that broke anything.

I remember a lot of ticked off customers back in 2009 when FF had a memory leak problem. First browser ever to use over a gig of RAM.
