I just updated to 152.0.5, version 152.0.6 is not yet available via automatic updates. Good news is that switching to full screen mode still works. Switching the respective flag to use modern drawing method to False still works. I don't remember which one it was, see my older posts in this thread.

it appears that they don't want another 6 updates on a Released Browser, and then I read that they are going on a two week schedule like Chrome is.

They did that a few years ago - went to a two week schedule but they 'abandoned' it. Good to see they're bringing it back again because I was thinking I may have had to start looking for another browser that behaves more like the 'old' Firefox used to because Mozilla seems to heading down the same annoying path that Chrome and Edge have already gone down - everything thrown in except the kitchen sink.

It's supposed to be a web browser for goodness sakes - you know, for browsing the web which is all I want it for.

I know perfectly well was a Browser does. I have been using Firefox since it first came out. My post was sarcasm, That is all I want it for and to get it right should not take but one final release. If they go two a final every two weeks then that would be fine if the product is stable. When Mozilla NOVA comes out, I will stay on the last real Firefox release. .

You can configure Firefox to either block updates, or notify you but not automatically install. And then install the latest update once a month. No need to install every single new update. Like I said I didn't notice any difference between one version and the previous one. Maybe that's because I just browse the internet and don't use any of the new features.

Sorry - my last sentence wasn't directed at you. It was just a general comment about what has happened to web browsers in recent years (especially Chrome and Edge).

Yep, I have a Registry file here that I've had for a few years which disables Firefox updates since Mozilla removed that option from Settings at about the same time. I also have another one that re-enables updates.

I don't know what happens if you don't disable updates and ignore the little reminder at the top right of the screen? Probably gets more and more insistent after a while and it may end up just doing the update anyway?

I have done it. If you set Firefox to not automatically install updates it notifies you every time you open it or open a new tab. A little annoying.
