MX Creative Console & Actions Ring
  • Actions Ring is a customizable on-screen overlay that lets you quickly access and customize app actions, keyboard shortcuts, and adjustments. Previously available only on MX devices, it’s now accessible on all compatible Logi Options+ mice and keyboards.
Bug fixes
  • Dialpad's dial & roller configuration controls are now disabled when the LogiPluginService is not running.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur while the plugin service was shutting down.

I didn't pay enough attention to the button clicks to be honest as they're both pretty quiet to me. I just re-enabled flow as well as I just discovered I can set the screen edge with the control key so I don't accidently keep changing machine screens. I didn't see that little optional setting before. 😂

I tried that too, but found that I still had to reach over and hit the Ctrl Key on the Laptop to bring the cursor back home!!! 🤷‍♂️

The Actions Ring needs a lot of work! It's quite non-intuitive, often clumsy!
A glorified right click menu, really!

It doesn't respect screen edges either...

The ability to set KB shortcuts to call apps is a game changer for Actions Ring. Until I figured that out, I wasn't using it.

Oh, and rocking the MX 4 now, too, and not gonna lie - it's better than the 3 series. The thumb button works like a button should, intuitively, which makes using Actions Ring a lot easier. There's a lot more that I like about it as well, but that is not relevant to this thread.

Just a heads up WU Build KB5066835, build 26200.6899 can cause some options+ issues:

Logitech premium features have stopped working for some users​

After the October 2025 Update, some users are reporting that Logitech’s special shortcuts or features no longer work. For example, the MX Anywhere 3 mouse’s side buttons don’t work anymore. You can no longer zoom, and keyboard mapping is also not working.

For myself one PC has the Actions Ring stop loading and Logi Options+ refuses to load and just keeps spinning. Only workaround I've found is to reboot to get them back.

sorry for the very late reply.. but.. not a contradiction. it clicks fine, it's the other functions as a mouse button that fails. if you try to click, hold and drag, a proper lmb works fine, the side button as advanced click will not. even in options as i try right now, it's inferior (doesn't always start where i want it to start dragging, for example) but still better than what was available in +.

i'm aware that they are different software, but for a purported newer version, it has inferior functionality. and no, i haven't tried to install a newer version of + as yet. but i guess i might not have much of a choice soon. that said.. don't think the last driver update warned me about options about to be retired.

Logi Options+ blew on my PC as well except the bloody app BLEW UP and wouldn't load so I had to do a repair install which screwed the Print Screen settings on the ERGO K860 so the 'Print screen' key wouldn't work with Snagit. Took 50 minutes of searching the internet et al. to find a fix.

Thanks for the crummy software Logitech.
