MX Creative Console & Actions Ring
  • Actions Ring is a customizable on-screen overlay that lets you quickly access and customize app actions, keyboard shortcuts, and adjustments. Previously available only on MX devices, it’s now accessible on all compatible Logi Options+ mice and keyboards.
Bug fixes
  • Dialpad's dial & roller configuration controls are now disabled when the LogiPluginService is not running.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur while the plugin service was shutting down.
  • Fixed a rare crash caused when restarting the plugin service.

The prognosis on my Logitech K860 Ergo keyboard isn't great either. The main Enter key is slowly crapping out so I'm back to using my old MS Comfort Curve keyboard!

I never could get its predecessor, the K750, to charge, so I covered the solar panels with electrical tape and replaced the rechargeable battery with an ordinary CR2032. I used several units this way for over 10 years. Worked great, and the battery lasted a long time. I guess the solar works for some people for them to revisit it. I moved to the MX Keys a couple years ago; more on making that keyboard livable here, where I also mentioned the K750:

ETA: I've never seen forum software so insistent on not showing raw URLs. I turned off the unfurl, but no matter what I do, it shows the thread title, when I'm just linking to my message within the thread. At least in this case, it's not particularly misleading, but it often is.

Those Slim Solar K980's are like everything Logitech in New Zealand, far too expensive. They're $NZ200 dollars, a K860 Ergo $NZ250. MX Master 4 mice also $NZ250. Must be why I replaced by failing K860 Ergo with a less expensive Incase Ergonomic MS clone keyboard).

I prefer my Logitech MX Keys for Business Keyboard and my Office is quiet dark. The charging would be an issue.

Plus they are not cheap here in Australia, Logitech K980 Slim Solar $180

i had the original one. forget it in the winter. that's even with sticking it on the window for most of the day when i'm not in. logitech's battery times are optimistic.

Was thinking of a monitor Light Bar, but, my monitors are too far away from the keyboard, thinking it won't cast enough light that far! 🤷‍♂️
