If it was intended you can ignore the detection.
Uncheck any item that you do not want to be removed and click Next. When prompted on what to do with the remaining unchecked items, select Ignore Always and they will be added to your exclusions and will no longer be detected by future scans.

Thanks I just got mbam to always ignore those finds yes I have a benchmark script I use to disable wd

So when did mbam tamper protection apply to defenders tamper protection as well this was blocking my script from working properly

mbam tamper protection hides defenders tamper protection from appearing in settings.
This was very irritating lol

No, Malwarebytes turns off Defender like any other Anti-Virus.
You need to turn off the following to turn Defender back on.

mbam may very well turn defender off but it does not turn off defenders tamper protection
Script will not work while windows/ microsoft tamper protection is on.
Try it yourself cmd as admin the script will alter you tamper protection is still activated.

But it will turn off GUI access to the tamper protection toggle. When the setting is set like my last screenshot you can access the GUI and turn it off.
I personally do not advocate turning off Windows security settings.
If you wish to alter Windows security settings in Windows with a script or otherwise, Quit MB from the system tray first.

Really small. Took less than ten secs to download and install on my main machine. Thanks, Rod.

Edit2: My non-compliant, which is accepting Beta updates, is getting a significantly larger booster shot. Seven mins and counting for the download.

Edit3: Done in 15 or so, incl. restart. Main now on 4.4.11; Non-compliant now on 4.5.0. ('At's a beta!)
