Hi folks

Love this app --but it's still a bit "Touch 'n go" whether it connects sometimes -- but for once Ms has got something right even if their documentation is totally HOPELESS on getting the app to work -- use @Brink --thanks !! excellent tutorial on setting it up -- I haven't got an iPhone but it works on my older Samsung S21.

Cheers

It's fine when at a computer -- especially for those wretched 2 or 3 step security things where a code is sent to mobile e,g when paying a bank transaction. Using the computers microphone and speakers for calls is often better - especially when you have to call one of those wretched call centres and are in a long queue -- why do they always say "due to high volume of calls etc" ... --even at 03.00 on a Sunday !!! or suggest looking at their website ad nauseam nr of times --do these ROBOTS (they can't be humans who actually work in those places - surely) imagine that you'd be ages on a phone if your query could easily be solved online.

I use Phone Link/Link to Windows every day. It works fine for retrieving text messages and current photos. I have answered phone calls with it but found the audio not very good. I usually tell the person to hold on for a minute so that I can continue the call on my cell phone. Text messages come through all right but I usually don't see notifications that are sent to me. Note that sometimes a verification code is sent via notification rather than text message. In these cases I usually have to get the actual phone to see the notification.

If want to retrieve an old photo or screenshot from a time not close to today it is quite cumbersome using Phone Link. Instead I use MyPhoneExplorer.
