Hi guys, I feel that I need to ask for your help again.

Two nights ago the pc was running perfectly. I turned it off and went to bed. Next morning my wife put the pc in to read some news on her account. It was was not showing, nor is my daughters. My account is the only one visible on boot up yet the other two accounts are still there, in user accounts. My wife thinks there might have been an upgrade, not so sure as I for a small bundle only today. If I click on the three dots on my account box, I get switch user and there are the two missing accounts but the normal log in (by names) is not there. I get my avatar, my local account and in a microsoft window.

So where the heck are my other two accounts. Everything is running nominally except for the two 'invisible' accounts. ????

This is normal now. The old profile picture menu in the Start Menu has been replaced be a newer account manager menu.

This new menu only shows "Switch user" now instead of the accounts that you now only see on the sign in screen after switch user.

Well, thanks again Brink, a million times over. But can you tell MS to switch the damn thing back to what it was. If it isnt broke dont fix it. Some idiot at MS has removed a perfectly good, working switch, to a more complex one. Are they deliberately trying to drive us away to linux or whatever. WE are the bosses in Windows, not MS. I am having enough problems with my treatment, I dont need this as well.

Option 1 is the one I discovered myself, the others I will have to experiment with to find the easiest. Option 2 is the easiest of the top two!

For that purpose MS has the Feedback Hub App. ;-)

after the above was sorted, my desktop changed to background colour and the wallpaper folder emptied itself. So I fixed that by going from scratch. Now the log in has reverted to the normal log in of me, wife, daughter in windows start. What the hell is MS up to? My Attack Shark X2 Pro mouse, went dead and after checking, the software had been removed. After checking connections etc it cam back on my itself later on. I know its a multiple post but no reply necessary.

As I said, the win11 has gone back to 'normal' log in. I had followed Brinks tutorials and was using the three finger salute until today.

I fully understand Kees, sorry, I dont even know how it went Bold. Not sure how it hurts your eyes though, does not bother me? Strange. Its actually called SHOUTING!

That's the problem not being native English speaking. Sometimes I think what I write (without checking every word in a dictionary) is OK, but then it appears to be wrong.

Well well, pc now back to the software log in that Brink mentioned in his tutorial. The pc switched back to 'normal' log in for 3 users on desktop, and switched back again to this new Microsoft log in management system. AGH!
