According to the reviews, they pretty much all perform the same, just different brands. I was looking at the 5080, but it's pricy and the price/performance ratio isn't as good as the 5070 ti. I am not a heavy FPS gamer, but I do like to have a decent frame rate when I do play games.

So I am curious, what are your thoughts on the cards I have selected? They were all rated as the best of the lot by PC Enthisiast (webzine). Just looking for some advice on what to buy.

Any thoughts welcome.

I would wait, the SUPER 5070Ti will be out soon,with more VRAM, at same price point , I am looking forward to the SUPER 5080 ,but a big if it will surpass my 4090 ,other wise I will wait next Gen, 5090 at 2500 dollars or 2200 dollars.

Ohhh. I didn't know a SUPER was coming. knowing where I shop it will be $500 more for that one. Maybe I will wait and see. When is it supposed to land?

    Also have Lenovo T14S laptop (me) and Lenovo Slim 71 (wife)
I needed a new video card with a high end build (from 2024) early this year (2025), and planned and had the money for a Nvidia 5080. it was impossible to get one for 3 months I gave up, and am still angry! I bought an Asus Prime 7070 ti oc, which was a whopping $930.00 I use VR and fly simulators. it is serving me well and comes in just a hair under the 5080 in performance. FYI

After not having any luck with AMD for years, I find that Nvidia cards grossly outperform AMDs offerings. I went Nvidia a couple of years ago and I was blown away by the performance. My frame rate went up by 50 FPS easily.

I don't know how the 9070 XT performs, but I would be reluctant to try it based on my previous experience.

I have read that the 5070 ti is pretty close to 5080 performance. The 5080 doesn't have the performance per dollar that the 5070 ti does, so less bang for buck.

HardReset says there is a Super version of the 5070 ti coming. I might wait to see what the price point is on that before I buy.
