I have a Dell XPS 15 9520 laptop that has an Intel iris xe graphics card and Nvidia 3050. It has windows 11 pro.
i7-12700h processor and 32gb ram. I use 2 external monitors with it, 32' 4k Samsung monitor and a 1920x1200 24' Asus monitor.
Many times when I would do a windows update and this could include a Dell firmware update, I would do this update only when I disconnect my monitors from it. Then I power off my laptop after the update. Then I connect my 2 monitors to the laptop and turn it on. Several times when this happens, my main 32' 4k samsung monitor would show Display port and not work but my asus monitor would work. I would then download the driver from the Intel site many times and I believe it was called intel arc control something. I recalled I downloaded the Intel arc driver for my XPS laptop. After I download that driver update, I power off my laptop. Then connect my monitors back to it. Then when I power on laptop, both monitors would turn on. I did this many times whenever I had a windows update and my main monitor did not turn back on.
I didn't do a windows update but just had powered off my laptop. When I turned my laptop on, my main 32' 4k monitor had the Displayport message showing. I then did a windows update that included the Dell bios update. I did the windows and Dell bios update with no monitors connected. Then I turned laptop on and the main 32' 4k monitor shows Displayport. Is this the same exact issue?
The thing is I do not recall the exact link I used to download the graphics driver update that would make my main 32' 4k monitor work again. I recall it was called intel arc something.
I typed in my start menu and Intel and it shows a program called Intel Arc Control Driver 32.0.101.7077 and this was released in September 2025.
Can anyone here confirm it's this link? I believe this is what I downloaded many times a while back when my main 32' 4k monitor didn't turn on except show Displayport on it. The thing is when I check the previous versions of it, it doesn't go as far back as 32.0.101.7077. Otherwise if it showed it, then I know this is the exact graphics driver I would download again to fix this monitor issue everytime.

It's not the link below right even though I have an i7-12700h processor? I never downloaded the graphics driver below to fix my monitor issue before as I recalled it was named Intel Arc something.

So download the Intel arc driver from the 1st link and that should resolve the monitor issue right? I done this many times previously but I do not remember the exact link I used from previous times. I do believe it's the 1st link as it's Intel arc but want to make sure. Can someone here confirm this is the link for the Intel arc control?
